Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Prepares all foods in accordance with standard recipes.
- Visually inspects, selects, and uses only food items of the highest quality in the preparation of all menu items.
- Checks and controls the proper storage of product and portion control including food rotation.
- Inspets all stations before service to ensure the kitchen is set up to our standards.
- Keeps all refrigeration, storage and working areas in clean working condition to comply with health department and hotel regulations.
- Assists Chef with creation of daily specials.
- Ensures all equipment is clean and in proper working condition.
- Reads and employs basic math skills to appropriately prepare items according to recipes.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand and bend for long periods of time.
- Hours of work vary upon business needs.
- Must be able to push, pull and lift 30 lbs. on a regular basis.
