About the role
The Culinary Supervisor at Woodfield Boca Raton is responsible for overseeing all food production in designated outlets, ensuring adherence to recipes and standards, maintaining quality and cost standards, and coordinating food service.Responsibilities
- Prepares and directly supervises kitchen staff responsible for the daily preparation of all food items.
- Checks mise en place before service time and inspects presentation of food items to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Consistently maintains standards of quality, cost, eye appeal and flavor of food.
- Covers shifts as needed and personally works in any station as assigned by the Executive Chef.
- Finds creative ways to utilize food scraps, items from freezer and main kitchen.
- Supervises kitchen personnel to assure highest productivity and professional conduct.
- Maintains highest level of sanitation standards at all times. Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations.
- Ensures that all work areas are safe and secure; reports any unsafe conditions to supervisor.
Qualifications
- Experience in culinary supervision and food production.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality and sanitation.
- Proficiency in utilizing food scraps and items from the freezer and main kitchen.
