Responsibilities
- Makes sure all food is prepared according to recipes and meets quality and presentation standards.
- Makes sure food and ingredients are properly labeled and stored to standards and maintains required logs and temperature checks.
- Ledges the team in a fair, firm, and consistent manner, ensuring the team is well-trained, knowledgeable of expectations, and up-to-date with certifications.
Qualifications
- Advanced food preparation techniques.
- Ability to coach cooks on skills as needed.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and ability to troubleshoot issues and find alternate solutions.
- Time management and delegation skills.
- A desire to pursue excellence relentlessly.
- The ability to create an environment for all associates to be their best self and thrive.
