Qualifications
- Facilitate culinary programming in the form of hands-on instruction, workshops and lectures.
- Provide one-on-one consultation services to help Miraval guests discover balance and nurture wellbeing.
- Create, inspire, and prepare dishes from local ingredients, providing background information on these dishes during a Chef’s choice nightly dinner.
- Lead culinary classes on a weekly schedule including pasta making, knife-skills, tasting demonstrations, plant-based cooking, and various other culinary experiences.
- Have robust understanding of cuisines, flavor profiles, and cooking techniques.
- Manage changes and improvements to existing programs based on current research.
- Maintain materials used in facilitation of programs.
- Manage attendance numbers for facilitated classes and adapt to needs for large groups.
- Participate in additional Miraval programs as needed.
- Respond to a wide variety of individual guest needs in the areas of lifestyle management.
- Understand, practice, and model mindfulness.
- Possess good communication and public speaking skills.
