CULINARY SHOP ASSISTANT- PART TIME

Duties And Responsibilities

• Work as Instructional Assistant within technical programs
• Experience in culinary arts and hospitality
• Experience with use of industrial kitchen and cooking equipment
• Ensure the kitchen remains clean and cooking equipment is in working order
• Manage and manipulate data and images using Microsoft word, excel, publisher
• Able to manage and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong reading and mathematical skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work cooperatively with high school students and faculty members
• Manage conflict in a restorative way
• Display initiative

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Associate’s Degree preferred
• Some training in culinary arts
• Passion for food
• Excellent attention to detail
