Culinary Services Director – Chef

About the role
Responsible for the management, planning, and directing of the culinary service department and dining services staff. Oversee food service standards, policies, procedures, equipment, systems, city and state regulations, and work areas while delivering the highest quality of food service for residents. Coordinate closely with nursing staff to ensure residents’ needs are met. Order supplies, maintain inventory control, verify orders, and ensure budgetary guidelines are achieved. Must be willing and able to cook daily in the kitchen.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Culinary Director in restaurants, hotels, SNF, or senior living
- Associate degree or better in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or Hospitality Management or Certified Executive Chef (CEC, ACF)
- Serve Safe Certification or Certified Dining Manager (CDM)

Pay
$60,000 – $70,000 per year
