Responsibilities

• Plan a variety of nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements, including special requests
• Manage the department budget and expenses, including inventory
• Directly supervise all dietary staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
• Work daily as part of the team to ensure quality food service in accordance with Legend’s Gold Leaf Dining standards, including interacting with residents daily
• Ensure all cooking, serving, storage, preparation, and service areas are clean, safe, and organized to meet all applicable food service standards and regulations
• Act as Manager-On-Duty on a rotating basis with other department leaders

Requirements

• Preferred: One year of experience cooking in a commercial kitchen
• Preferred: Experience supervising culinary staff
• Required: Current food handling license, as required by the state

This position may require working evenings and weekends as needed.
