Culinary Service Aide
About the role
The Culinary Service Aide assists the cook in preparing and serving meals according to scheduled times, adhering to departmental policies and maintaining high standards of food service.
Responsibilities
- Assist the cook in meal preparation and service
- Follow established policies and procedures for the Culinary Services Department
- Promote food service standards through cost, quality, and quantity controls
- Provide meal service that respects resident preferences and preserves dignity
Qualifications
- Desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents
- Understanding of geriatric residents' special needs
- Employment eligibility after passing a criminal background check per Minnesota Department of Human Services guidelines
