Culinary Service Aide
About the role
The Culinary Service Aide assists the cook in preparing and serving meals according to scheduled times, adhering to departmental policies and maintaining high food service standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist the cook in meal preparation and service
- Follow established policies and procedures for the Culinary Services Department
- Promote food service standards through cost, quality, and quantity controls
- Provide meal service that respects residents' choices and preserves their dignity
Qualifications
- A desire and commitment to working with geriatric residents
- Understanding of geriatric residents' special needs
- Employment eligibility after a background check in accordance with Minnesota Department of Human Services guidelines
