Responsibilities
- Support the kitchen management team in executing all kitchen functions, including food preparation and maintenance of quality standards
- Ensure sanitation and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Train team members in cooking methods, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control, and sanitation
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of current kitchen management experience in a high-volume kitchen
- Banquet experience required
- Pizzeria experience is a plus
- Strong operational background with ability to provide high-quality food and outstanding guest service
- Proven success in controlling food and labor costs
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a high-volume operation
- Culinary Arts degree preferred
- Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s operating area
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, directing, and motivating team members
- Excellent basic math skills
- Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Office and email use
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Stamina to work 10 to 12-hour shifts when necessary and at least 45 hours per week

Schedule
- 10 to 12-hour shifts when necessary
