About the role
The Culinary Externship Program with Colonial Williamsburg Company strives to provide a diverse experience in high quality culinary operations. The Historic Area of Colonial Williamsburg offers a la carte, quick service and special events opportunities to develop skills and hone your craft. Candidates should be enrolled in or recent graduates of a Culinary program.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of food at various events and venues within the Historic Area.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance culinary skills.
- Support the team in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in all areas of operation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth event execution.
Requirements
- Enrolled in or recent graduate of a Culinary program.
- Strong interest in historical culinary practices and traditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
