Responsibilities

• Prepare food items in accordance with recipes and established standards.
• Maintain the colleague dining experience in the Colleague Cafe.
• Ensure outstanding service through adherence to hotel standards.

Qualifications

• Open and flexible availability, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Previous line experience in a comparable high‑volume environment preferred.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to perform all basic cooking skills.
• True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures.
• Willingness to undergo training and supervision.

Pay

The hourly rate range for this position is from $27.50 to $31.79/hour.

A $500 Hiring Bonus is offered: $250 payable after completion of 90 days (must be actively employed) and $250 payable after completion of 180 days (must be actively employed). Eligibility requires being hired into a Full‑Time Cook II position; current Hyatt employees and Hyatt alumni are not eligible.
