Culinary Assistant / Server - Full Time - 630a-3p Shift - Fargo Care Center

About the role

Eventide Fargo Care Center in south Fargo, ND (near Scheels Arena) is seeking a Culinary Assistant / Server to provide meal service to residents/tenants under sanitary conditions and in a respectful, timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Offers and serves menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
• Follows portion control size standards.
• Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes all dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers used to provide meals as well as other assigned cleaning duties.
• Operates equipment in a proper, safe, sanitary, and respectful manner.
• Prepares various menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director (Coordinator) and/or Culinary Cook.
• Monitors daily menu items in order to verify that all necessary items are prepared and labeled.
• Stores leftovers appropriately according to food handling standards.
• Organizes and plans work schedule to meet times for serving.
• Operates dish machine according to directions. Pre-soaks and sorts dishes and utensils.
• Assists in accepting vendor deliveries and storing items in the proper areas.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service is preferred, but not required.

Schedule

Full time, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, including every-other-weekend and holiday rotation.

Pay

Competitive starting pay range of $16.00 – $17.92 per hour based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available for select positions.
