About the role
The Culinary Arts Program at Northbridge University offers students the opportunity to develop essential skills and knowledge for entry-level positions in the culinary arts. Students will receive hands-on training in various aspects of cooking, including sauces, meats, and baked goods, while also learning about kitchen safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities
- Teach culinary arts courses to students at the Kissimmee campus.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are adhered to.
- Provide instruction on management and supervision in the food service industry.
Requirements
- Completed Associate Degree in Culinary Arts and/or Baking Pastry.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (written, read, and verbal).
- At least 5 years of industry experience.
- Prior college-level teaching experience.
- Industry or academic certifications/license (Serve Safe).
Qualifications
- Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe.
- Familiarity with information systems.
- Availability to deliver courses using diverse resources.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
