Culinary Aide

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in plating and serving meals according to dietary needs and resident preferences.
• Provide warm, attentive service during mealtimes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining environment before, during, and after service.
• Perform basic food prep tasks such as washing, chopping, portioning, and assembling items.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with preparing meal trays and carts for delivery when needed.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following established procedures.
• Keep workstations, storage areas, and equipment clean and orderly.
• Absent from reporting safety concerns or equipment issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, hospitality, or senior living preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices (training provided if needed).
