Culinary Aide

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine and various food service equipment.
• Assist with tray line assembly and restorative dining programs.
• Food preparation as assigned.
• Clean the dish machine area and clean and de-lime dish machine.
• Store clean equipment and utensils.
• Auxiliary in setting up dietary tray cards.
• Deliver food carts to resident meal service location areas.
• Empty garbage in dumpster and sanitize garbage cans.
• Maintain effective communication with residents, families and community staff.
• Adhere to strict guidelines for serving times.
• Adhere to sanitation control issues as described in policy and procedure manual: CCP (Critical Control Point).
• Set up dish machine area, check temperatures and check soap dispensing levels.
• Scrape, pre-wash and stack soiled dishes.

Qualifications

• General education.
• Experience in food service preferred.
