About the role
Culinary Aides at Hickory Creek Healthcare play a crucial role in ensuring residents receive safe, nutritious, and delicious meals. They assist with meal preparation and service, and maintain a clean work environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with culinary leaders to meet the needs of residents for a positive dining experience.
- Prepare and portion meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
- Set up trays and carts for service to residents.
- Collect and wash soiled trays and dishes with service staff.
- Clean equipment as needed to keep the workplace clean and sanitary.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling, unless required by State and Federal agencies.
- Preferred: Prior restaurant server experience.
- Required: Commitment to customer service.
- Required: Willingness to perform routine tasks and work alongside culinary team and leaders.
