CUA 1 Case Aide

About the role

Case Aides play an important role in supporting families and ensuring the safety and well-being of children. In this position, you will work directly with families identified by the Department of Human Services who may need help improving parenting skills and creating a safe, stable home environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support, guidance, and encouragement to help families build the tools they need to care for their children successfully.
• Assist families in learning and practicing skills that reduce safety risks and promote healthy child development.
• Work closely with families to develop parenting practices and skills that enhance their ability to provide a nurturing environment for children.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Two years’ experience involving youth and families preferred
• Knowledge of child and family service systems
• Valid Driver’s License (issued by state in which employee lives) and safe driving record
• Experience with computers beneficial
• Knowledge of social work values and/or child welfare services
