CTS Lab Technician

About the role

The Lab Technician is responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, verification, documentation, and initial processing of samples entering the laboratory. This position ensures samples are properly identified, logged, labeled, tracked, and prepared for subsequent laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and chain-of-custody requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review sample documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies in sample documentation.
• Maintain organized records of samples.
• Coordinate the movement of samples between intake and laboratory areas.
• Ensure samples are properly identified, logged, labeled, and tracked.
