Example Of Essential Job Functions
- Makes sure all CTR staff follow the right rules and steps.
- Looks at how many people are getting tested and helps connect those who test positive to doctors.
- Does HIV tests at the clinic and in the community.
- Talks to doctors, nurses, and other helpers to make sure everyone is doing their job right.
- Gathers information about patients and puts it in a computer system.
- Helps people get ready for their doctor visits and makes sure they know what to expect.
- Works with other helpers to make sure everyone is working together to help patients.
- Does small blood tests if they have the right skills.
- Follows the rules that keep patients safe and happy.
- Does extra things that help the clinic reach its goals.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma is needed.
- HIV Testing and Counseling Certification is helpful but not always needed.
