CTP 2nd Shift - Maintenance Technician - Level III

About the role

We are looking for a talented CTP 2nd Shift - Maintenance Technician - Level III to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC.

Responsibilities

• Drive efficient operations: Execute maintenance tasks effectively while identifying constraints, solving problems, and contributing to continuous improvement.
• Support team capability growth: Share knowledge, coach peers, and serve as a resource to strengthen overall team performance.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively: Engage with cross-functional teams, participate in TPM initiatives, and align efforts to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
• Technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Experience: Three to five years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, ideally within a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong expertise in electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, and mechanical repair. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings. Experience working with LOTO, WAH, and other HSE-related certifications. Forklift, aerial lift, or similar equipment certifications are beneficial.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication and documentation capabilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Demonstrated leadership, ownership mindset, and accountability.
