About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Technology Financial Planning & Analysis Lead Analyst to join the Infrastructure and Cyber Technology Finance organization. This role will provide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analytical support to Technology executive leadership, delivering actionable insights that drive financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex initiatives on matters related to financial research, analysis, and reporting
- Make decisions in multi-faceted situations, providing advice and technical expertise on matters related to complex financial analysis and forecasting as well as economic research in support of management decision making functions
- Research strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning as well as enhancing reporting systems to support the production of financial reporting and analysis
- Provide support to more experienced professionals in the management of budgeting analysis, forecasting analysis, variance analysis, variance commentary, reporting and reviews, and presentation and project preparation
- Review and analyze complex technical challenges that require evaluation or multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
- Maintain effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards
- Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Requirements
- 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical experience
- Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to partner effectively across multiple stakeholders and influence decision-making
- Experience preparing executive-level presentations and communicating complex financial concepts to senior leadership
- Demonstrated track record of identifying business insights, improving processes, and driving strategic outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
