Responsibilities
- Track, organize, and maintain inventories to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient operations, providing necessary chemicals and supplies to minimize downtime or increased scrap.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
- Organize and store inventory according to company standards.
- Perform weekly inventory counts of chemicals and consumables.
- Execute specific financial inventories, including end-of-month chemical inventories for Finance.
- Work with Logistics to update chemical inventories in SAP.
- Update chemical ordering and pricing with correct inventories and the 6-month forecast.
- Order chemicals based on usage, current inventory levels, and 6-month forecast to ensure the Value-Added department does not run out of supplies.
- Maintain knowledge of chemical hazards, waste management procedures, and implementation of emergency response procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to maintain workflow or respond to emergency conditions.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with 5S standards.
- Perform all duties within the limitation of standard methods and procedures, and in strict adherence to HSE, quality, and productivity requirements.
- Assist other positions within the Value-Added department.
