CTE Teacher- Business And Marketing (.5 FTE)

The Auburn School District is seeking a CTE Teacher Business position beginning in the 2026-27 school year.

About the role

This position will contribute to the educational program at the high school level, focusing on business education. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to student success.

Responsibilities

• Teach business-related courses to high school students
• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with state and district standards
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and resources
• Maintain accurate records and report grades as required
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on industry trends and best practices

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Education or a related field
• Valid teaching license in Business Education
• Experience in teaching business education at the secondary level
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students

Pay
