About the Role
The role involves performing radiographic procedures independently, utilizing technical expertise to provide diagnostic imaging with ionizing radiation. You will be responsible for designated areas or procedures, ensuring accurate image evaluation and patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures with technical proficiency.
- Operate CT scanners and power injectors.
- Evaluate images for accuracy and quality.
- Ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Utilize computer systems such as PACS, HIS/RIS, and workstations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy.
- Handle stressful situations with professionalism.
Requirements
- Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology training.
- ARRT registration.
- CPR certification and healthcare provider training.
- Physical dexterity and strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with CT scanners, power injectors, and computer equipment.
Qualifications
- One year of CT experience (preferred).
