CT Technologist - Up to $9,000 Sign-On Bonus

We are seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging team at Fairview East Bank University Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. This is a 0.6 FTE (48 hours per 2 weeks) position with the following schedule:

• Week 1: Thursday - Sunday, 8PM - 8AM
• Week 2: Off

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus prorated based on experience.

About the role

The CT Technologist functions independently within professional practice boundaries, performing major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients and physicians, delivers age-appropriate patient care according to established standards, and collaborates with the healthcare team. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT).

Responsibilities

• Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Performs excellent patient care
• Conducts CT examinations
• Accurately identifies relevant data from images
• Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family and other customer needs
• Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate healthcare professional
• Participates in creating a culture of patient safety
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency preparedness
• Verifies patient identification and documentation
• Communicates with and educates patients regarding pertinent information during all aspects of the exam
• Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol
• Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures
• Ensures patient data integrity

Requirements

• ARRT Radiology Tech certification
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related role
• Additional certifications in Imaging
