CT Technologist - Up to $9,000 Sign-On Bonus
Job Overview
Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging team at Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN! This is a .6 FTE (48 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work the evening shift during the week (8 hour shifts) with a weekend rotation (12 hour shifts) every 5th weekend. Schedule is subject to change depending on department needs. Being a small facility, all positions may need to work a night shift to cover vacations and LOA's for our night staff. This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Performs excellent patient care
- Performs examinations
- Identifies relevant data from images accurately
- Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs
- Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
- Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam
- Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol
- Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures
- Ensures patient data integrity
- Adheres to radiologic safety guidelines and diagnostic testing protocols/procedures
- Accurately documents in compliance with regulatory agency requirements, completes computer functions, edits, scheduling, and billing status changes
Requirements
- ARRT Radiology Tech
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in a related role
- Previous ambulatory care experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
