CT Technologist - Radiology Technologist PRN
About the Role
We are seeking a CT Technologist to join our team at Medical City Arlington, a part of HCA Healthcare. In this role, you will perform routine and specialized imaging procedures using ionizing radiation, adhering to professional and departmental standards. You will provide high-quality computerized tomography images for physician diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Compassionately assist and position patients on the CT table.
- Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
- Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
- Provide customers with proper post-procedure instructions.
- Prepare and turn over the room using aseptic technique between patients; clean and sterilize equipment.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
- Current license as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) by the State of Texas.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
