CT Technologist - Radiology Technologist PRN

About the role
The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures using ionizing radiation in accordance with established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high-quality computerized tomography images used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
- Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
- Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
- Provide patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
- Prepare and turn over the room using aseptic technique between patients; clean and sterilize equipment.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
- Current License as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) by the State of Texas.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in CT.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
