About the Role
The PRN CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as CT on adult and pediatric patients to support diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Perform CT studies independently in various settings, including on-call and portable exams.
- Participate in CT-guided biopsies and procedures as scheduled.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT.
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience.
- Valid licenses and ability to work a flexible PRN schedule with a minimum of 20 hours every 6 weeks.
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and patient care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Preferred experience in radiology or related imaging fields.
- Preferred certifications such as CPR and IV therapy.
