CT Technologist - PRN

About the role

Is responsible for the production of optimal quality digital images in an efficient manner while demonstrating concern for patients of all ages. Utilizes knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient's age (adolescent, adult and geriatric) to ensure that care provided meets the unique physical and psychosocial needs of the patient. Has a full knowledge of equipment within CT such as but not limited to scanners, power injectors, advanced work stations for post processing exams and software applications for specialized reformatting of images.

Responsibilities

• Produce optimal quality digital images efficiently.
• Demonstrate concern for patients of all ages.
• Apply knowledge of growth and development principles (adolescent, adult, geriatric) to meet physical and psychosocial patient needs.
• Maintain full knowledge of CT equipment including scanners, power injectors, advanced workstations for post‑processing, and specialized image‑reformatting software.

Requirements

• 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
• Associate’s Degree from a JRCERT‑accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist credential (R.T.(R), NMTCB(CT), or equivalent).
• CT‑CAT Scan certification preferred within 18 months of hire.

Skills

• Proficiency with CT scanners, power injectors, advanced post‑processing workstations, and image‑reformatting software.
• Understanding of age‑specific growth and development principles.
• Ability to deliver high‑quality images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

Pay

$51.00 to $51.00 (hourly rate).
