About the role
The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment
- Ensure patient safety
- Maintain high-quality imaging standards
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with clinical hours completed
- State licensure may be necessary depending on the location
- Certification through ARRT or eligibility is required, with registry achieved within 6 months of eligibility
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs
- Perform prolonged standing and walking
- Execute tasks involving reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting
