Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a CT Technologist/Radiology position in Palmer, AK. The role offers a weekly salary up to $2640.00.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and ensure high-quality imaging results.
- Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.
- Maintain and calibrate radiology equipment for optimal performance.
- Stay updated with the latest radiology techniques and technologies.
- Provide excellent patient care and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with radiologists to interpret imaging results accurately.
- Avoid compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Analyze and report on imaging data to support clinical decisions.
- Document patient information and imaging results in the system.
- Manage patient scheduling and workflow to optimize efficiency.
- Absorb assistance in training new staff and sharing best practices.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss performance and improvement strategies.
Requirements
- ARRT Rad Tech and ARRT CT Tech certifications.
- Experience with X-Ray and CT exams for outpatients, ED, and inpatients.
- Experience with surgery and trauma cases in CT.
- At least 2-5 years of experience.
- Experience scrubbing in any color except camouflage.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner.
- Travelers must be more than 50 miles from the facility.
