CT Technologist - PRN

About the Role

Performs superior/quality CT Scans on all ages under the guidance of a Radiologist. Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards and radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring. Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities. Assists in Diagnostic Radiology as needed. Other duties as assigned. Shall follow the ALWAYS Values of HCA.

  • Maintain a safe diagnostic radiological environment adhering to practice standards and radiation safety guidelines
  • Participate in departmental Performance Improvement activities
  • Assist in Diagnostic Radiology as needed
  • Adhere to HCA's ALWAYS Values

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Acute care facility experience preferred
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
  • High School Graduate / GED

About the Facility

Medical City McKinney opened its doors more than 90 years ago. We are a 285+ bed acute care hospital serving the residents of McKinney and northern Collin County. Our main campus is a Level III Trauma Center with emergency services at our main campus and at Medical City ER Stonebridge. We provide:
