CT Technologist - PRN

About the Role

A PRN CT Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced CT modalities. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, independently conducting studies such as CT-guided biopsies and procedures, and ensuring quality control.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT
• Minimum of 1 year CT experience
• CT certification and/or prior CT experience required
• Experience in radiology, medical imaging, or related areas is preferred
• Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois only) and certifications like CPR and IV therapy are advantageous

Skills

• Knowledge of advanced imaging modalities
• Ability to work independently and in on-call situations
• Familiarity with diagnostic procedures and patient preparation

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment
• Perform imaging studies, including portable exams and CT-guided procedures
• Maintain quality and safety standards

Schedule

Flexible schedule with a minimum commitment of 20 hours every 6 weeks.
