CT Technologist - Nights -M-TH 4-10 shifts

About the role

Join Mercy Hospital Springfield as a full-time CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist on the Mon-Thurs night shift (8:30 PM to 7:00 AM). This inpatient role does not require on-call duty.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate imaging equipment while ensuring patient safety and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with completion of required clinical hours.
• No prior experience required.
• State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• ARRT registry obtained or registry eligible (must achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating imaging equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
