CT Technologist - Night Shift

CT Technologist I, with potential consideration for higher levels based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to acquire diagnostic images.
• Perform all CT procedures and post-processing using advanced technology and established protocols.
• Maintain knowledge of different CT systems across multiple locations.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines, protocols, and dose management, notifying users when preset levels are exceeded.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately, ensuring proper immobilization and protective shielding.
• Perform CT interventional procedures and advanced CTA imaging, including complex studies like TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac imaging.
• Interpret technical factors to optimize scan quality and efficiency, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Strong understanding of clinical histories, organ systems, and vascular systems relevant to CT imaging.
• Knowledge of physics to optimize patient dose and image quality.
• Ability to adapt protocols based on patient needs and clinical requirements.
