CT Technologist, Nights
20K sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Shift: 7:30p–8:00a, Sat/Sun/Mon overnight. Eligible for multiple differentials.
About the Role
Under the general direction of the manager, the incumbent prepares, sets up, and operates CT Scanners following specific physician orders. Produces detailed computer-generated scans for diagnostic and interventional information. Performs a variety of patient care tasks, including assisting patients onto the scanner, verifying identification prior to scan, entering patient information into the system from requisitions, and ensuring files are archived onto local media and networked to RELAY/PACS. Maintains facilities in proper order and stays updated on all outpatient procedures and policies within the CT Department. Engages in additional duties as assigned.
- Competent in all routine outpatient CT exams.
- Obtains ARRT or NMTCB (R), (T), or (N) registration and applicable state licensure.
- Confirms correct patient and exam through patient confirmation, interview, and medical record review, modifying and documenting as needed to ensure accurate imaging and records.
- Explains exams to patients, considering individual physical, emotional, and language needs to ensure compliance and understanding.
- Adjusts scanners and injectors to correct settings for all exams, setting automated and manual technical factors to safely image patients.
- Performs required imaging using appropriate equipment according to department protocol or Radiologist request.
- Ensures exams are labeled correctly prior to transmission to PACS and verifies images successfully arrive in PACS.
- Adheres to all departmental and hospital policies.
Requirements
- Certificate/Diploma in Radiologic Science required; Associate's degree preferred.
- ARRT or NMTCB Registry required.
- MA State license required.
- CT Registry required within 1 year.
- BLS certification required within 90 days.

Pay
$50 - $50.25/hourly (Grade 5).
Schedule
- Shift: Night (7:30p–8:00a).
- Days: Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
- Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36.
Work Location: 273 Charles Street, onsite.
