Key Duties
- Explaining procedures to patients and obtaining clinical history
- Reviewing lab values and screening for allergies to contrast media
- Administering oral and IV contrast media
- Operating CT scanners for different procedures
- Cooking workload with other departments
- Maintaining quality and ensuring patient safety
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Ohio Department of Health radiologic license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
