CT Technologist - Night Shift

Role Overview: The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. They are valued clinical professionals within a collaborative care team, responsible for performing CT procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities Perform CT exams following department protocols, capturing diagnostic images with technical precision.Operate imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).Maintain cleanliness and functionality of rooms and equipment, report issues promptly.Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification prior to procedures.Explain procedures clearly, address patient questions, and promote a calm environment using AIDET communication.Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety, providing age-appropriate care throughout the process.Administer contrast agents using sterile techniques, position patients correctly, and apply shielding as needed.Review images for quality, repeat or adjust as necessary, and document findings accurately in RIS/PACS systems.Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with life-support equipment maintenance.Organize workflows, support departmental operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.Certifications: ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS from the American Heart Association.
