The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and supporting a positive patient experience in a collaborative healthcare environment. They perform CT procedures following department guidelines, ensuring diagnostic image quality while maintaining safety standards using ALARA principles. Key duties include operating imaging equipment independently, maintaining cleanliness and equipment functionality, obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort, privacy, and safety. Technologists administer contrast, position patients accurately, review images for quality, and document procedures precisely in RIS/PACS systems. Additional responsibilities involve responding to emergencies, supporting department workflows, maintaining compliance, and assisting with operational tasks.
