CT Technologist II
Location: Woodbridge, VA
Work Shift: Weekend Nights (Friday - Sunday, 9 pm to 9:30 am)
Sign-on bonus up to $30,000 available for qualified candidates.
About the role
As a CAT Scan Technologist II, you will perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician. Responsibilities include providing patient and family education, operating equipment safely, completing department documentation, maintaining equipment cleanliness and functionality, and ensuring adequate supply inventory for examinations. You will also follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines and administer CT contrast per protocol.
Responsibilities
- Perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures under physician direction.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Operate equipment safely and maintain it in clean, operational condition.
- Complete department documentation accurately.
- Maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
- Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines.
- Administer CT contrast per protocol.
Requirements
- Trade School Graduate in Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT or CNMT certification required.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two years of hire.
