Join Novant Health as they expand access to exceptional care with the opening of their new Summers Corner Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED).
Responsibilities
- Assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
- Works in various clinical settings including inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and operating room procedures such as biopsies, drainages, cryogen, spinal injections, cardiac, trauma, etc.
Requirements
- Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
- Experience: One year experience in CT, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center- Certified and registered by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, required.
- Applicable state license, required.
Qualifications
- Analytical ability.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient.
- Ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.
