Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical CT procedures across diverse patient populations, selecting appropriate technical factors and adhering to radiation safety principles.
- Administer contrast agents, assist with invasive CT-guided procedures, and ensure equipment functionality through quality control.
- Support departmental initiatives to improve patient safety, quality, and workflow efficiency.
- Provide patient education, prepare exam rooms, verify orders, and facilitate effective communication to promote patient comfort and cooperation.
- Document care activities accurately and process images promptly for interpretation.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure availability of supplies.
- Demonstrate professionalism and ethical conduct consistent with organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Associate degree and certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
- ARRT (R) and CT certification or NMTCB (CT) certification required.
- Less than 1 year to 6 months of CT experience preferred; 10 years experience for internal candidates prior to July 2026.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and patient care techniques.
- Strong communication, technical skills, and ability to work collaboratively.
