CT Technologist (Full-Time, Night Shift)

About the role

At NorthBay Health the C/T Technologist performs general radiographic studies according to established Q.A. criteria, scans and organizes images, completes required paperwork and charges, and ensures patient safety and well-being during examinations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiographic studies
• Scan and organize images
• Complete required paperwork and charges
• Assist and instruct patients during examinations
• Perform bedside radiography
• Assist with clerical duties
• Clean and inspect equipment prior to use
• Report equipment malfunctions
• Practice principles of ALARA

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-approved radiology course or training and experience prior to 2000
• Current CACRT with Fluoroscopic permit
• Possession of a venipuncture permit or documented venipuncture training prior to January 1, 2013, or possession of a venipuncture permit with 10 venipunctures after January 1, 2013, and venipunctures completed within 1 month of hire
• AHA or equivalent BLS Certification required
• Two or more years of experience in general radiology, at least one year of C/T
• Some clerical and computer experience

Pay

Hourly salary range: $61.57 – $74.90 (offered rate based on years of experience). Generous shift differentials offered for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
