CT Technologist - Full-Time Evening

About the role

The CT Tech performs computed tomography examinations per physician orders, utilizing advanced imaging equipment while considering patient-specific needs. They apply their technical knowledge to produce high-quality images, supporting accurate diagnoses and treatment. The role involves operating sophisticated CT machinery, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans accurately based on physician directives.
• Adjust imaging techniques to accommodate individual patient requirements, including age-related considerations.
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring safety and functionality.
• Follow established protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Relevant education and certification as required by licensing authorities.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Oregon Medical Imaging License.
• Registry as a Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Within one year of hire, obtain CT certification if not already certified.
