About the role
A CT Technologist operates CT equipment and performs imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues using CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across a wide age range.
- Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images accurately.
- Maintain precise records, ensure image integrity, and adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and manage supply inventory.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) (ARRT).
- Required advanced certification in CT.
- BLS certification from an approved vendor.
- Preferred venipuncture certification in certain locations.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
Organization Requirements
- All associates must receive required vaccinations, with exemptions possible.
- Participation in E-Verify is mandatory.
