About the role
Provide diagnostic CT imaging services, producing high-quality images for physician use while delivering compassionate patient care. Ensure safety and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Assist radiologists with specialized examinations and demonstrate proficiency with RIS and PACS systems. Perform daily calibration, quality assurance, and equipment maintenance, reporting issues promptly. Use radiation protection principles and proper positioning techniques to ensure diagnostic accuracy. Maintain supplies and report equipment problems to supervisors. Leverage professional judgment to perform procedures safely and effectively.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- NJ Radiology license
- ARRT Certification
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Previous CT experience
Qualifications
Preferred: CT Certification
Skills
- Technical proficiency in CT imaging and equipment
- Knowledge of RIS, PACS, and interventional billing systems
- Strong judgment and discretion
- Attention to detail and safety protocols
