CT Technologist -CT Scan - Full time - Second Shift

About the Role

As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist at the Elliot, you will perform computed tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. You will also assist with interventional procedures while promoting teamwork and reflecting the Mission, Philosophy, and Code of Conduct of Elliot Health System.

Our CT team utilizes Siemens scanners known for ease of use and speed, and we incorporate auto 3D software into our protocols for maximum efficiency. Our workspace is large, comfortable, and modern, with radiologists reading 24/7. You’ll also work alongside our brand-new Emergency Room, serving the community.

Responsibilities

• Practice within the scope of a CT technologist as outlined by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT).
• Perform venipuncture.
• Prepare and position patients for CT procedures according to the CT procedure manual.
• Provide radiation protection to patients, staff, and self according to prescribed safety standards.
• Record patient history, unusual conditions/limitations, and other details such as exam time, room number, and technique.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited educational program in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine technology.
• Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Certification (required).
• ARRT (CT) certification (required); ARRT-eligible candidates will be considered with the expectation of certification within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation and maintain it during employment.

Pay

$15,000 sign-on bonus eligible.

Schedule

Split shift: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
