CT Technologist

About the Role

The CT Technologist performs computed tomography (CT) procedures under physician supervision, utilizing advanced equipment to assist in diagnosing medical conditions across all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic and interventional CT studies.
• Practice radiation safety and use sterile techniques when necessary.
• Ensure optimal imaging through proper patient positioning, technical adjustments, and venipuncture.
• Operate CT systems and review patient history via computer systems.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate exams within the department and with other units.
• Perform scheduling and equipment maintenance.
• Administer relevant medications in accordance with procedures.

Requirements

• Current radiologic technology certification.
• CT certification within 24 months of hire.
• Valid state license.
• CPR certification.
